Every one knows that cosmetics are a big part of the fashion industry and well liked by most girls. Cosmetics are worn by the models in New York’s fashion week to girls on the streets in DC. CVS Pharmacy has recently opened its market in a higher end of the cosmetic industry by releasing a higher-end beauty store, called Beauty 360 which is connected to CVS pharmacy . The first Beauty 360 opened its doors on Monday on Connecticut Avenue NW in Dupont Circle. The company to planning to open up to 500 stores in the future.
This store took some thought into making. It is prominently filled with white walls and is accented a sea foam color and brushed steel. The selves are filled with higher end cosmetics brands than CVS’ typical cosmetic assortment. Some of these brands are seen the network channel from Paula Dorf cosmetics to Fushion Beauty, Dr. Brandt, ModelCo, StriVectin, blinc cosmetics, Talika, Supersmile, Pop Beauty and Bloom Cosmetics. The selves are also shocked with fragrance with brands from P&G Prestige, Coty Inc. and Clarins.
They not only supply their customers with the higher end cosmetics and fragrances but the store also includes a full-service treatment room, which provides beauty services from manicures to makeup application. The leader of CVS’s beauty, Mary Lou Gardner, said, “This model provides a convenient destination where women can feel good for a little bit of money.” I believe this is going to be the next hot beauty spot for girls to get everything they need to look great.

Wow I would have never known about this new venture by CVS Pharmacy had I not read it here! that's so cool that they chose D.C. instead of somewhere more fashion forward like NYC to launch their project. Maybe D.C. will be more of a beauty-forward center now and their launch will be the one who made it happen. And maybe this will bring a better light on the somewhat low-class aspect of CVS because even though everyone may need to stop there to get their necessities every once in a while, there are certain locations that are just plain bad.
