Guess Improvements


One of the most globally well known companies is Guess Inc. .The company sells everything from jeans to accessories. It is most well known for its men’s and women’s clothing. Every month Guess puts out a new line of clothes. This new collection always comes out the first week of every month. Last Thursday, the men’s new monthly collection was released then the women’s collection followed. This time the men collection had an additional line released called the Black Label. Guess added this collection to give the consumer a “distinguished, elegant, bold and stylish” look. It offers every item a customer would need to look flawless from contemporary polo’s to traditional black slacks. Guess plans for this collection to add the casual yet dressy customer to its already existing Guess imaged customer and help to generate more sales.
In addition to adding this new Black Label men’s collection, Guess is also adding a more array of jeans. Last December Guess was selling more dresses than jeans. Guess did not to become known as a dress store since it did start with just one pair of jeans. Guess reacted to this problem by setting the goal for each store to have 40 percent of their sales to be jeans. The designers are also globally traveling to help make their jeans unique yet stylish.
Guess has also created a point system called the Guess List. By signing up for this card the Guess customer will receive a point for every dollar they spend. Once they get to 200 points the customer will receive a $10 gift card. They will also receive emails with promotions and special events going on in the store. It is every easy to sign up for this all the customer has to do is give their name, zip code and email address. Guess plans that this Guess list and the new products will have the customer coming back to shop more .
